New footway being installed in Devoran

A contractor for the Parish Council will be starting work (weather dependant) on installing a hard standing footpath on the grass verge beside the old A39 in Devoran (the verge on the right as you go up the hill towards the School after coming off the Carnon Gate roundabout).

The idea of this is to give pedestrians a safer access up the hill so that they do not need to walk in the road. It is hoped that the work will be completed within a week.
