Parish Community Emergency Plan

The Parish Council has started to put together a Parish Community Emergency Plan to be activated in events such as adverse weather, a lengthy power cut, trees down blocking road access etc. to provide help to residents before the Emergency Services are able to assist. 

We are looking to develop the Emergency Plan with help from residents and would like to start building a list of volunteers who may have the skills to help in an emergency - for example you may be able to use a chainsaw to remove a fallen tree, have a 4x4 vehicle or you may be able to go and check on vulnerable people and collect supplies for them.
