Community Speedwatch

Two of our Parish Councillors will very soon be receiving the necessary training to take forward the Community Speedwatch programme we are hoping to introduce in the parish.

Once this initial training has been completed, we will be looking for community volunteers to be trained to operate the Speedwatch equipment, if you have not already volunteered please get in touch with Debra Roberts, Parish Clerk on 01872 863333 or email debra@feockparishcouncil.co.uk

We hope to have the programme operational within the next couple of months. The Speedwatch programme is essentially a driver awareness programme.

Vehicles exceeding the speed limit for the roads being monitored will be reported to the police and it is the police who will be responsible for contacting the registered keepers of offending vehicles and advising them of any offence committed
