⛱️ Sale of Loe Beach ⛱️

The Parish Council has been contacted by a number of residents who are concerned about the news that Loe Beach is currently for sale.

Loe Beach is a much-loved and valuable community facility and we understand the strength of feeling about its future.

The Parish Council will be discussing this at the September Parish Council meeting which will be held on:

📅Monday 21st September at 6pm (please note amended date)

📍Parish Council Offices (The Old Market Hall, Market Street, Devoran, TR3 6QA)

Members of the public are welcome to attend and speak during the Public Participation session at the start of Council meetings, set out below is how public participation works:

Time limit: Maximum of 3 minutes per speaker.

No debate: Councillors listen and may ask questions but cannot debate or vote on your point that evening, unless it is an item on the agenda and the debate will then take place during that specific agenda item which the public are welcome to stay and listen to.

No further discussion will take place with members of the public unless permission is given by the Chairman.

Next steps: Issues not on the agenda may be added to a future agenda for full discussion.

How to join in: Let the Chairman know you wish to speak when he asks at when the start of the meeting.

Tips: If you know that lots of people are attending about the same issue/item, to avoid everyone using their 3 minutes to say the same thing, we recommend liaising beforehand to ensure you use your time wisely and get all your points across between you.

Standard meeting rules apply, and everyone is expected to remain respectful.
