Nans Kew Coastline 7 properties for rent available from 26th March 2026
The new Coastline Housing properties to rent in Carnon Downs (at the end of Valley Lane) will be advertised on Cornwall Homechoice on Thursday 26th March. Please note when it states Feock in relation to local connection this is the Parish of Feock which includes Feock village, Carnon Downs, Devoran and Point and Penpol. You need to be registered with Cornwall Homechoice to apply for one of these properties, more details available here https://www.cornwall.gov.uk/housing/home


New gates in Devoran Recreation Ground
The new gates for Devoran Recreation Ground have been fitted this week. They just need a coat of preservative now to protect them. The new main gates at the far end of the park are now more equal in size to give easier access for people with buggies, wheelchairs or pushchairs.


Additional items now able to be recycled
From today (16th March 2026) there are more every day items you can recycle including food and drink cartons, plastic bags and wrappings in your household recycling. This includes Tetra Pak-style cartons for milk, juice, soups and more. Just give cartons a rinse, squash and put them in your red recycling bag. Squash all your plastic bags, film lids and wrappers into either a either a bread bag, vegetable or fruit bag, or carrier bag to stop it from blowing away. Tie it up and


Storm Goretti Feedback Survey
The Parish Council are keen to get feedback from residents of their experiences during Storm Goretti which will help write the Feock Parish Community Emergency Plan. This feedback will help establish what the Parish Council can practically do to help residents during a similar incident in the future and also to provide information to residents about what they can do to be better prepared in the event of another storm. The Parish Council are running informal drop in sessions for residents in each of the 3 main villages in the parish to feedback their experiences during the storm which will help write the Community Emergency Plan the Council are putting together.
